North Carolina DHHS Implementation Update #75
On June 29, 2010, the North Carolina Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Abuse Services (DMHDDSAS) announced that the state
received an extension on its timeline for full implementation of the Critical Access Behavioral Health Agency (CABHA) program. Full implementation is anticipated to
occur between July 1, and December 31, 2010. Clarification of some aspects of CABHA transition were covered
including deadlines for organizations seeking CABHA certification by the end of
2010.
