 Sarasota Family YMCA, Inc. Invitation to Negotiate (ITN #01-2008) to
Provide Foster Care & Related Services
On June 19, 2007, the Sarasota YMCA Community-Based Care Lead Agency
for Florida's
Department of Children and Families SunCoast District awarded child
welfare contracts for
the coming year to Youth and Family Alternatives (YFA), Family
Preservation Services of
Florida (FPS), Manatee Glens, and Manatee Child Services. The awards
are in response to invitation to Negotiate (ITN) #01-2008 Child Welfare Case Management
in Sarasota, Manatee
and DeSoto Counties. The ITN was released April 11, 2007; proposals
were due by May 4, 2007.
The 12-month contracts are renewable and are
valued at nearly $5
million annually. The contracts start July 1, 2007. The following
five organizations also responded to the ITN: Children's Home
Society, Costal Behavioral Healthcare, Devereux, Florida Center, and
The Children's Home.
