Louisiana House Bill 216: School Choice Pilot Program
The bill was designed to provide education vouchers to students with special needs. It provides each qualifying student with a voucher valued at
approximately half of the state's per-student support payment. The voucher can be used to defray the cost of tuition at non-public schools.
