Game changer: Investing in digital play to advance children's learning and health

Certain games for the computer, phones, television, or classified as educational, however it is difficult to decipher exactly how. Ann My Thai, David Lowenstein, Dixie Ching, and David Rejeski, conclude that games are quite educational for children in the following areas: rich vocabulary, literacy to math, creation of artifacts, how changing one element affects another, and improving physical fitness. The games are unique to the twenty-first century because they can alter ways of learning in America and leverage enthusiasm in children.
