North Carolina Association's Long Term Care Facilities Industry Update
On June 21, 2011, the North Carolina Association of
Long-Term Care Facilities released an industry update
presentation about adult care facilities. The industry
update is to announce that the North Carolina Department of
Health and Human Services (DHHS) is reclassifying Medicaid
participation rules for adult care facilities to limit the
percentage of residents with mental illness to no more half
of total residents.
