 New Jersey Bill S735
The bill establishes a standard of involuntary
commitment to outpatient treatment. The legislation encourages each
county or designated mental health service area to develop a screening
service, outpatient treatment provider, and short-term care facility
which will meet the needs for evaluation and treatment of mentally ill
persons in the county or service area.
