Final Rule and Proposed Rule
The Departments of the Treasury, Labor, and Health and Human Services released a document on grandfathered insurance plans. These plans are
those that have
existed as of March 23, 2010. Grandfathered health insurance plans have not been
required to meet provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordability Care
Act. The interim fund rule and proposed rule described what plans must do to
retain grandfathered status.
