June 2013 MACStats: Medicaid & CHIP Program Statistics

The Medicaid and State Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC) released Medicaid enrollment, cost, and utilization statistics based on 2010 enrollment data. The report examines Medicaid and CHIP eligibility and coverage for maternity services, a newly implemented increase in Medicaid physician payment for primary care services that brings the rate on par with Medicare rates, access to care for persons with disabilities, and the availability of data on Medicaid and CHIP that can be used for oversight and program monitoring.
