ShareMandatory Proposers Conference for Los Angeles Department of Public Social Services RFP for GAIN Case Management Services

At the mandatory proposers conference for Los Angeles Department of Public Social Services RFP for GAIN Case Management Services: RFP GCM #08-01, the county answered bidder questions and clarified its expectations. The question and answer document also includes an addendum to the RFP that moved the proposal due date to April 28, 2008, and revised an incorrect Caseload Projection chart was included in the RFP. The new contracts will start December 1, 2008

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services seeks proposals to provide management and delivery of case management services of the County's CalWORKS Welfare-to-Work program in the County's Greater Avenue for Independence (GAIN) Regions II and VII that serve northern and northwestern areas of Los Angeles County consisting of the San Fernando Valley and Antelope Valley. Vendors may bid for one or both GAIN Regions. For GAIN Region VII, the vendor will be required to provide their own space, while in GAIN Region II, the Department will provide all required space.

About 39,000 people are served in all GAIN regions. In Region II about 5,700 people participated; in Region VII, about 2,900 people participated. Region II includes Lancaster, Palmdale, West San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita, West Valley. Region VII includes Glendale, East Valley, and East San Fernando Valley.
