 Arizona Senate Bill 1441
This bill was signed into law May 12, 2008. It reduces the amount of time
the Department of Economic Security must wait to terminate parental
rights for a child under the age of three. Parental rights can be
terminated for a child who has been in foster care for a cumulative total
period of six months or more and whose parent has not remedied the
circumstances related to the child's removal, including refusal to
participate in reunification services.
