ShareLee County Triage Center & Low Demand Shelter

This presentation describes how Lee County, Florida, has implemented a pre-arrest mental health diversion program for low-level offenders. It is primarily for individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis who are homeless, indigent, and/or intoxicated. It provides assessment and staff help participants engage with appropriate community treatment and services.
