 Agency Responses to a Department of Economic Security Division of Children, Youth and Families Child Protective Services Congregate Care (June 2009, Report No. CPS-0901)
The Arizona Department of Economic Security Division of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) Child Protective Services (CPS) responded to an audit by the Arizona Office of the Auditor General. DCYF intends to improve timeliness of its CPS investigations in shelters and group homes, clarify its statutory authority to conduct CPS investigations in residential treatment centers, and increase its effectiveness in monitoring contracted congregate care providers service quality.
