 New Mexico Behavioral Health Provider Satisfaction Study
In 2005, ValueOptions New Mexico was selected as the statewide
entity for the New Mexico Interagency Behavioral Health Purchasing
Collaborative. ValueOptions is responsible for maintaining the New
Mexico behavioral health provider network and managing the service
delivery system. The purpose of this study is to measure
ValueOptions performance against standards outlined within their
contract with the State of New Mexico. Specifically, this study
looks at satisfaction levels among providers within their network.
The objective of this study is to assess the
experiences of providers with ValueOptions. Specifically, the
quantitative research conducted for this study focused on the
following:

Overall satisfaction/dissatisfaction with ValueOptions

Ability of providers to provide patient care

Payment/reimbursement from ValueOptions

Providers' grievance process
-
Communication received from ValueOptions

Customer service
