Assertive Community Treatment for Recovery (Act for Recovery)
Enhancement
This Request For Proposal (RFP) is
issued by
The Connecticut Department of Mental
Health and Addiction Services and seeks proposals from
qualified private non-profit applicants to develop and operate
Assertive Community Treatment for Recovery (ACT for Recovery)
programs. Communities targeted for service enhancement include
the Greater New Britain area, and Greater Manchester/Enfield
area. The teams will have a recovery-orientation and be
designed to serve persons with serious mental illness, who may
also have substance use problems, and who are being discharged
from nursing homes, psychiatric hospitals, prisons, or who are
homeless. A priority will be given to individuals leaving the
nursing home environment and needing intensive community
support.
Proposals are due 7/17/08.
