State of Wisconsin Department of Children & Families Foster Care & Kinship Care DCF 56 &58
The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF) Child Welfare Rate Regulation Committee has been developing service levels and rates for the three types
of out-of-home care levels: residential care centers, group homes and treatment foster care (TFC). The first two levels include kinship care for relatives who applied
or have a pending application after January 1, 2010. The proposed rule described in the DCF report describes the two levels along with training and certification
needed to qualify as a kinship caregiver.
