Transitioning from Developmental Centers to Communities: Open
Enrollment Request for Proposal
The State of New Jersey seeks proposals to provide customized
supports and services for people transitioning from the state's
seven developmental centers to communities. This request for
proposals (RFP) is part of a ongoing process to develop community
support capacity to enable a total of 1,850 people to leave
institutions over an eight year period to live in communities with the help of a variety of
support services. The RFP has three due dates for proposals to build
capacity gradually.
