Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division Summary Statement of Deficiencies and Action Plan

The Milwaukee, Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services, Behavioral Health Division has been working since June 3, 2010, to address a statement of deficiency issued by the state related operations at the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex. The statement of deficiency was the result an unfavorable review by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. The majority of the problems were related to building maintenance, but the county planned to seek a contractor to evaluate operations at the Complex and recommend changes.
