Delivery of Evidence-Based Treatment for Multiple Anxiety Disorders in Primary Care: A Randomized Controlled Trial

The American Medical Association published the report titled, Delivery of Evidence-Based Treatment for Multiple Anxiety Disorders in Primary Care following their randomized controlled trial in May 2010. The trial was to determine whether a flexible treatment-delivery model for multiple primary care anxiety disorders would be better than usual care (UC). The trial compared the treatments in 17 primary care clinics in 4 cities between 2006 and 2008 of 1004 patients with anxiety disorders, aged 18 to 75 years old.
