Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System Announces Award of Contracts for the Arizona Long Term Care System

Following a request for proposal seeking managed care organziations (MCOs) provide Medicaid managed care services for individuals with disabilities, the  Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System announced the contract winners. Contracts will start October 1, 2011 and run for five years.  The MCOs will receive capitated per member per month payments to provide needed acute and long-term health care services, home-and community-based services, and behavioral health care services.
