ShareRFP For Linkage Programs for Special Youth Populations - Florida

The South Florida Workforce (SFW) Board is the regional workforce board chartered by the State of Florida for the Region made up of Miami-Dade and Monroe Counties. To meet identified needs, the SFW Board is soliciting responses from organizations with the expertise and capacity to manage and deliver linkage programs for special youth populations. The method of solicitation being used is intended to require a minimal expenditure of resources by responding organizations while at the same time enabling SFW to identify those organizations that can provide the highest quality and levels of service. SFW is not seeking elaborate proposals; rather, the offerors are asked to respond to a number of specific questions. The reviewers will evaluate the narrative proposals and the offerors documented capabilities and performance track records in providing similar services to the targeted populations.

Timetable: The timetable for this solicitation is approximately as follows:

April 22, 2003 - Request For Proposals (RFP) released
May 2, 2003 - Offerors' Conference, 9:00 a.m.
May 16, 2003 - Submission deadline for proposals, 4:00 P.M.
May 29, 2003 - Preliminary funding recommendations approved
June 18, 2003 - Board approves selection decisions
June 2003 - Contracts executed
July 1, 2003 - Service delivery begins
