 Retrospective Utilization Review Project
APS Healthcare will provide Medicaid utilization review services for the New York State Department of Health in a project that will review the physical and behavioral health care services and prescription medications delivered to three million New York fee-for-service Medicaid recipients. Proposals were due by August 15, 2008. The project is scheduled to start by early summer 2009 and will run for three years, with two optional renewal years. The contracts maximum value is $7 million.
