ShareNew Jersey State Health Benefits Program Actuarial Cost Estimate for Assembly Committee Substitute for Assembly, No. 2238: Health Benefits Coverage for Autism & Developmental Disabilities

Autism Speaks sought to develop a cost model in order to analyze and estimate the impact of mandated statutory benefits for autism spectrum disorders (ASD) on the cost of health coverage. As part of this work, Autism Speaks contracted with Oliver Wyman Actuarial Consulting, Inc., to develop an estimate of the costs to the New Jersey State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) for the benefits mandated by New Jersey Assembly Committee Substitute for Assembly, No. 2238 (ACS 2238) as of October 28, 2008.
