 Completion of Phase I of Medicare Health Support Program
This fact sheet outlines the results of the first phase of the Medicare Health Support Program, which sought to improve clinical outcomes and
improve beneficiary satisfaction as well as achieve the financial target of reducing costs by between $300 and $800 per participant per month. The report finds that the demonstration program did not meet the requirement of budget neutrality, as the program fees were five to eleven percent higher than expected by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
