 Report on the Plan for the Closure of Agnews Developmental Center
The California Department of Developmental Services released the state's plan for transitioning the remaining residents from the Agnews Developmental Center in San Jose, California. All 160 residents will be moved to community placements in 61 group homes in the San Francisco area. The closure process began in 2003. The community homes were purchased, renovated, and
mortgaged to the Bay Area Housing Plan.
