ShareWisconsin Association of Family and Children's Agencies Position on the 2009-11 Biennial Budget

The Wisconsin Association of Family and Children's Agencies released this position statement to help member agencies advocate with legislators in their regions. The 2009-2011 state budget includes numerous proposed changes that will affect how child welfare services are provided. WAFCA says some of the proposed changes would be beneficial and improve the state's network of care for children. WAFCA opposes other proposals, particularly two: a state-rate for residential care and foster care licensing for levels of care.
