 Request for Proposals: Tinley Park Consultation
The Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Mental Health
(DMH) seeks consultation to assist in the process of studying the
feasibility, impacts, and options associated with the closing of its
Tinley Park facility. Proposals were due April 4, 2007. A contract
award is expected by May 11, 2007. The project will include the
following aspects:

Determine the number of beds required to appropriately serve the
mental health population, now and in a five and ten year time
horizon

Identify the financial implications of closing Tinley Park on the
alternative sites to be used as well as on projected changes in
service utilization
-
Advise DMH on opportunities to maximize leverage of general fund
appropriation available for these services
