 The 2008-2009 Sacramento County Grand Jury Report on Child Protective Services
The Sacramento Grand Jury decided to examine Sacramento County's Child
Protective Services (CPS) Program after the death of 4-year old boy in July of
2008. The Grand Jury identified areas where improvements are needed. The findings and recommendations in this report are designed to help CPS improve services to its clients and avoid needless injuries and deaths.
