 Henry A. vs. Nevada
On April 14, 2010, the National Center for Youth Law (NCYL) filed a the Henry A. vs. Nevada lawsuit against the child welfare systems of the State
of Nevada and Clark County, Nevada. The lawsuit alleges that the state and county failed to protect children's health and safety; it seeks unspecified
damages for 13 children named in the lawsuit and system improvements for several classes of children that together include more than half the 3,600 Nevada
children in foster care.
