New York City Center for Economic Opportunity: Strategy & Implementation Report
The New York City Center for Economic Opportunity was established in December 2006 by Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg. The centers mission is to reduce the number of people living in poverty in New York City through the implementation of result-driven and innovative initiatives. Programs are aimed at reducing poverty in three key populations throughout the City: the working poor, young adults between the ages of 16 and 24, and children below the age of six.
