New Jersey Medicaid Managed Care Changes: FAQ About Upcoming Changes in the NJ FamilyCare/Medicaid Program

On April 13, 2011, the New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS) released a frequently asked questions factsheet about the new Medicaid managed care changes for provider organizations. New Jersey is planning to move 121,000 aged, blind, and disabled Medicaid recipients from fee-for-service (FFS) Medicaid into mandatory managed care for medical care and prescription coverage.
