2009 State Profile-United States National Survey of Substance Abuse Treatment Services
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
regularly surveys addiction treatment provider organizations. The survey data includes
the location,
characteristics, services offered, payers accepted, and number of clients in treatment at public or private alcohol and drug abuse treatment
facilities throughout the 50 states, the
District of Columbia, and other U.S. jurisdictions.
