 New Jersey's Long and Winding Road To Treatment, Wellness and Recovery
In November 2004, Governor Richard J. Codey signed an executive order creating a task force that would recommend specific improvements in the mental health system enhancing the lives of consumers and their families. A comprehensive review of New Jersey's Mental Health System was conducted over a four-month period. Input from the Public was obtained at three hearings conducted in various parts of the State.
