 Americas Youngest Outcasts: State Report Card on Child Homelessness
This authors of this document sought to provide a comprehensive snapshot of child homelessness in America today. The report updates a 1999 study released by the National Center on Family Homelessness and clearly shows that the problem of child homelessness is worsening. One in 50 American children experience homelessness and 75% of homeless children live in 11 states.
