 Flexible New Deal
The Flexible New Deal is a welfare-to-work program that will be
introduced in some parts of the United Kingdom in October 2009, followed
by a second phase in October 2010. The program will provide assessment
and individualized action plans for individuals with barriers to
employment. Services will include career planning, job search advice, and
specialist services such as debt advice, job training, and confidence
building.
