ShareWinkleman, et al., v. Parma City School District


This case brought before the Supreme Court of the United States explores to what extent, if any, a non-lawyer parent of a minor child with a disability may represent the child in a federal court without hiring a lawyer. The ruling will be specific to language in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, 20 U.S.C. 1400 et seq, that implies that parents can bring suit as "aggrieved parties."
