Draft Plan: Transforming the Kansas City Missouri School District: Teaching & Learning for a New Millennium

The strategic plan draft was developed by the superintendent of the Kansas City, Missouri School District (KCMSD) and community stakeholders. It seeks to transform the educational system into a highly skilled, effective, and culturally aware environment. It has five core components: all students will execute individualized success plans; all graduates will be among the top 10% of their peers for national and international standards; all students will learn in a safe environment; all students will have access to a state-of-the-art technology system; and all students will have access to a high quality childhood educational experience.
