Excellent Schools Detroit released its plans to improve education in Detroit, Michigan. The plan calls plan for the city to have a 90% high school graduation rate
by 2020. To reach the goal, Excellent Schools Detroit will award $200 million in grants to open 70 new schools in the city. The schools will be a mix of traditional
public, charter, and private schools.
