ShareArnold v. Sarn Update to Arizona Behavioral Health Stakeholders

The Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) to behavioral health stakeholders about a ruling by the Maricopa County Superior Court to permit the state to temporarily halt funding for compliance monitoring for mental health services mandated by a 30-year old court order in Arnold vs. Sarn . AZDHS clarified its responsibilities during the two-year monitoring break. A key responsibility will be redefining the services, supports, and benefits that must be provided with the goal that eventually, AZDHS will be able to exit the case.
