State Mental Health Cuts: A National Crisis
The National Alliance on Mental Illness released a report containing information on state mental health cuts between 2009-2011. Between 2009 and 2011, the amount
of state funding spent on mental health treatment and support services for adults and children dropped by $1.8 billion.
