 Georgia House Bill 1256: An Act to Require Certain Hospital Authorities to Contract With Non-Profit Corporations
This bill would amend Georgia law to require certain hospital authorities to contract with nonprofit corporations for the operation and management of their facilities. The bill would also prohibit any hospital authority from receiving trauma funding if they do not contract with a nonprofit. Additionally, such contract would be considered a minimum function of a hospital authority.
