Trends in Health Care Costs and Spending

In March 2009, the Kaiser Family Foundation released a report with statistics on health care costs and spending. The study estimated that health care spending in 2009 was $2.5 trillion in the United States. Back in 2000, health care spending was only $1.3 trillion in the United States.
