 Feasibility and Cost Effectiveness of Expansion of Managed Care to the Aged, Blind, and Disabled Population
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) was required to conduct this analysis by a 2007 bill, S.B. 10. The analysis evaluates the feasibility and cost effectiveness of developing an integrated Medicaid managed care model designed to improve the management of care to the aged, blind, and disabled (ABD) Medicaid population in rural areas of the state and in those urban areas that currently do not have a capitated managed care option.
