Maryland Nonprofits is
proud to bring you the 2004 edition of Nonprofits by the Numbers.
The newly updated version shows some encouraging and exciting
trends in the nonprofit sector. These statistics clearly show that
Maryland's nonprofit sector is not only growing in numbers, budget
sizes are growing as well. Although there is no clear geographical
pattern to growth, Montgomery County is the individual
jurisdiction that has increased most in number of organizations.
Baltimore County is the individual jurisdiction that has increased
most in number of organizations with budgets over $1 million.
