ShareRFP #01H02FP5 Requesting Florida Assessment Community Treatment Teams

The Florida Department of Children and Families, Mental Health Program Office, is seeking proposals to implement one (1) Florida Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) program in each of the following districts:

  • 1 team in District 4
  • 1 team in District 7
  • 1 team in District 11

These programs are expected to begin operations no sooner than April 2002.

The department is in need of qualified organizations to provide FACT programs consistent with the standards contained in the Programs of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) model to deliver community treatment services for persons with psychiatric disabilities who have not been served adequately in traditional service delivery systems.

This effort is part of a statewide initiative to enhance the effectiveness and availability of quality mental health services throughout Florida. Each district mental health program office identified above will receive funds to enter into a contract with the successful offer or that is selected through this Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
