Medicaid Program; Community First Choice Option, Proposed Rule
On February 22, 2011, the federal Department of Heath and Human Services released information about the new Community First Choice (CFC) option available to
states. The CFC option, created by the Affordable Care Act, offers states a six percent increase in federal matching funds for providing community-based attendant
services and supports to people with Medicaid.
