 Emsam Transdermal Patch
The Emsam transdermal patch was approved for the treatment of major
depressive disorder. The 6mg patch does not require dietary changes
typically required when patients are taking MAOIs. However,
the 9mg and 12mg patch do require dietary changes to avoid tyramine-rich
foods and beverages.
