2009 National Board Governance Survey for Not-for-Profit Organizations
This document, published by Grant Thornton, LLP, is the seventh annual governance survey, conducted between October 14, 2009 and November 6, 2009. The survey
had 465 responses from CEOs, CFOs, and board members, and ultimately focused many areas. The areas of interest included the effects of the economic downturn,
organizations' training, communications, the role and structures of organizations' boards, and audit committees.
