 Canada Health Infoway Home Telehealth Business Case Report
In 2006, Canada Health Infoway engaged Praxia Information Intelligence
and Hay Group Health Care Consulting (Praxia/Hay) to develop a Home
Telehealth Business Case for the Telehealth program. This report
summarizes the business case findings. The business case is focused on
home telehealth in the broadest sense: the application of information and
communication technologies to bring health care to the home environment.
The business case presented here has been developed around generic home
telehealth interventions. The potential home telehealth interventions are
derived from a number of specific Canadian examples as well as the
variety of interventions described in literature.
