The Arizona Department of Corrections released the request for proposals as required by the legislature. Proposals are due April 10, 2010. Awards will be announced by June 30, 2010. The state seeks to contract with private correctional management operators for 5,000 prison beds. Contracts will last for five years, with multiple renewal periods.
