Title IV-E Plan Amendment-Guardianship Assistance Program; Title IV-E Guardianship Demonstration Projects; Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008

This U.S Department of Health and Human Services-Administration of Children, Youth and Families Program Instruction released on February 18, 2010 outlines the Title IV-E Plan Amendment-Guardianship Assistance Program; Title IV-E Guardianship Demonstration Projects. This program instruction's purpose is to provide interested State title IV-E agencies and Tribes revised instructions on how to implement and operate the Guardianship Assistance Program (GAP) title IV- E plan option as authorized by the Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008, Public Law (P.L) 110-351. Some of the main topics of this program instruction discusses were background information, eligibility, fair hearing, case plan requirements, administration training, and financial reporting.
